Moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma of colon.
Some of the tumor glands are scattered, surrounded by the stromal component. Cribriform glands noted, may indicate evolution of tumor. Tumor cells appear elongated, with overlapping morphology. Necrotic debris consisting of nuclear fragments ie dirty necrosis. There is occasional mitotic figures noted, indicating a highly proliferating tumor. There is also presence of stromal component, which is primarily composed of fibroblasts and some inflammatory cells.
