Notes
The tumor consists of neoplastic glands with pencillate and overlapping nuclei along with single tumor cell infiltration within the stroma. The stroma has infilamatory infiltrate consisting predominantly of lymphocytes and plasma cells. No necrosis is present. Tumor is CK20 positive and CK7 negative. These features are consistent with poorly differentiated colorectal adenocarcinoma.
