Well differentiated adenocarcinoma of colon. There is glandular architecture, glands are irregular with some crowding. Some of the larger glands have mucinous debris. At high magnification the neoplastic gland have crowded nuclei with hyperchromasia and show marked pleomorphism. Mucin producing cells are noted. Many apoptotic cancer cells and occasional mitotic figures are noted. Moderate amounts of intervening stroma is also seen which show presence of fibroblasts and histiocytes. No lymphocytes are seen.
